While there, Snoop finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion. The film will be premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th.

Sparkle: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Album Stream)

The cast for the movie also includes Mike Epps, Omari Hardwick, and Derek Luke.
Sparkle in theaters August 17.

Busy Signal’s camp released some behind the scenes footage from the video shoot for his single “Reggae Music Again,” off his latest album of the same name.

“Being a Jamaican, I feel like it is my duty to highlight and contribute to reggae music, and with the encouragement of my management and musicians who played on this record, it all came together,” Busy Signal said.

Busy Signal is currently in a Minnesota jail awaiting trial on a charge of absconding bail. That charge stems from a narcotics incident dated back 10 years ago.
