The Life Of Nate Dogg & His Music

Hip-hop has lost its greatest hook man. Nate was necessary. Every track he blessed with his monotone, melodious, and stern voice, became so much more intense. His tone and style was essential to Dr. Dre’s G-Funk era.

Nate Dogg made his debut on The Chronic alongside fellow 213 members Snoop Dogg & Warren G. His vocals can be heared on "Deeez Nuuuts" & "Lil' Ghetto Boy". Singing in what later become his trademark style, he was well-received by fans and critics alike, and would go on to sign with Death Row Records in 1993.

His first hit feature was in 1994 with Warren G "Regulate". In 1994 he was also featured on "How Long Will They Mourn Me?" with 2 Pac's group Thug Life. He provided his vocals on 50 Cent's second number one single "21 Questions". Nate Dogg has featured in and contributed to over 40 chart singles and four Grammy nominations.

Tributes continue to pour in fron collaborators friends & well wishers to the man whose voice sold millions of albums, and who was responsible for some of the greatest hooks in history.
